Over 300 faculty and departmental websites at the University of Ilorin had gone offline simultaneously. More than 3,000 staff digital records were lost or unrecoverable. The university’s digital estate — built over years — was effectively gone, and there was no governance system to prevent recurrence or manage recovery.
What Enle Did
Working through Revive Digital Solutions, Enle mobilised a rapid-response digital recovery operation. Within 14 days, 300+ faculty and departmental websites were recovered and rebuilt. Over 3,000 staff digital records were restored and reorganised into a structured, accessible format.
Beyond recovery, Enle identified the root cause: there was no institutional system for managing digital assets, approvals, or governance. So we deployed Memo Manager — a structured approval and governance workflow tool — giving the university a permanent system for digital operations management, internal communications, and records control.
The Outcome
A digital estate rebuilt in under two weeks. A governance framework that now gives the institution long-term control over its digital operations — removing dependence on any single individual or team and protecting against future incidents of the same kind.
